Bean and Ham Soup

3 qt. water
1 lb ham or ham bone
2 carrots, sliced
1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
1 lb. mixed peas and beans
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 onion, chopped
salt and pepper to taste

Simmer 5 hours and serve with green salad and sour dough cornbread.
