Okra and Tomatoes

2 qt. okra
1 (No.3) can tomatoes
1 can water
1 bell pepper
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
cooking oil
chopped onion
celery (if desired)

Cut up okra. Cook in large skillet with oil. When okra is brown, add tomatoes, water, bell pepper and celery. Cook slowly until okra is tender. Add sugar and continue cooking 10 minutes.
